Grew up cooking on a coal tandoor and now leads our kitchen with a lighter, modern hand.
Specialty: Tandoor & signature butter chicken
Our Story
Saffron & Spice opened on a quiet stretch of Queen Street with two tandoors, a handful of family recipes and a stubborn belief that Indian food deserves a beautiful room. We kept the slow-simmered gravies and the charcoal char, and let go of the heavy oils and the tired buffet trays.
Today the kitchen runs on the same principle: buy well, cook properly, season with confidence, and make everyone feel like a regular by the second visit.
